The United States Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service has released a new tool for mapping our nation’s water use and drought. As the news release explains, “Agricultural Research Service (ARS) scientists Martha Anderson and Bill Kustas have developed an evapotranspiration (ET) and drought modeling system at the ARS Hydrology and Remote Sensing Laboratory in Beltsville, Md.
