Water resources management experts Patrick McGinnis, Senior Advisor, The Horinko Group and Don Riley, SVP, Dawson & Associates will discuss flood risk and the aging infrastructure of inland waterways during the American Water Resources Association’s (AWRA) October 9 webinar.  The webinar will be based on articles from the January 2014 “Future of Water Resources in the United States” issue of Water Resources IMPACT.  Specifically, Mr. McGinnis will cover the issues and conclusions of the article titled, The Long Slog: What Lies Ahead for the Financing of Our Nation’s Inland Waterways Infrastructure.  AWRA will also hold three panels during AWRA’s 2014 Annual Water Resources Conference, November 3-6 in Tyson’s Corner, VA based on these issues.
